哈爾濱工業(yè)大學(xué)計算學(xué)部發(fā)展的輝煌歷史：
1956年，創(chuàng )建哈工大計算機專(zhuān)業(yè)，是中國最早建立的兩個(gè)計算機專(zhuān)業(yè)之一；
1957年，研制出第一臺結構式模擬計算機；
1958年，研制出中國第一臺“能說(shuō)話(huà)、會(huì )下棋”的數字計算機；
1981年，計算機組成與系統結構被國家批準為首批博士點(diǎn)；
1985年，成立計算機科學(xué)與工程系；
1986年，經(jīng)國家批準設立“計算機應用”博士點(diǎn)；
1987年，計算機應用博士點(diǎn)被國家評為唯一的計算機應用重點(diǎn)學(xué)科，并建設計算機應用技術(shù)國家重點(diǎn)專(zhuān)業(yè)實(shí)驗室；
1988年，設立“計算機科學(xué)與技術(shù)”博士后科研流動(dòng)站；
1995年，被確定為哈工大211工程建設重點(diǎn)學(xué)科；
1998年，設立“計算機科學(xué)與技術(shù)”一級學(xué)科，并獲批“計算機軟件與理論博士點(diǎn)”；
1999年，確定為哈工大985工程重點(diǎn)建設學(xué)科；
2000年，成立計算機科學(xué)與技術(shù)學(xué)院；
2000年，成立軟件學(xué)院，次年被批準為國家示范性軟件學(xué)院；
2000年，設立模式識別與智能系統博士點(diǎn)；
2001年，建立“國家計算機信息內容安全重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗室”；
2002年，建立“生物信息技術(shù)”本科專(zhuān)業(yè)和“信息安全”本科專(zhuān)業(yè)；
2003年，計算機應用博士點(diǎn)再次被評為國家重點(diǎn)學(xué)科；
2003年，計算機科學(xué)與技術(shù)一級學(xué)科在教育部學(xué)科評估中列全國高校第4；
2003年，設立“人工智能與信息處理”博士點(diǎn)；
2003年，與哈工大（威海）共建哈工大（威海）計算機科學(xué)與技術(shù)學(xué)院；
2004年，與哈工大深圳研究生院共建哈工大深圳研究生院計算機學(xué)部；
2004年，經(jīng)教育部批準建設“哈爾濱工業(yè)大學(xué)語(yǔ)言語(yǔ)音教育部—微軟重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗室”；
2004年，經(jīng)黑龍江省批準，建設“黑龍江省生物醫學(xué)信息技術(shù)與系統工程技術(shù)研究中心”；
2005年，設立信息安全博士點(diǎn)；
2006年，增設數字媒體技術(shù)與藝術(shù)博士點(diǎn)；
2007年，計算機應用技術(shù)學(xué)科再次被評為國家重點(diǎn)學(xué)科；
2007年，計算機系統結構學(xué)科被評為國家重點(diǎn)學(xué)科；
2007年，計算機科學(xué)與技術(shù)學(xué)科成為國家一級學(xué)科重點(diǎn)學(xué)科；
2007年，計算機科學(xué)與技術(shù)學(xué)科在教育部學(xué)科評估中列第5位；
2007年，計算機科學(xué)與技術(shù)專(zhuān)業(yè)通過(guò)教育部工程專(zhuān)業(yè)認證；
2007年，計算機學(xué)科與技術(shù)教學(xué)實(shí)驗中心被教育部評為國家級實(shí)驗教學(xué)示范中心；
2008年，計算機科學(xué)與技術(shù)核心課程教學(xué)團隊被評為國家級優(yōu)秀教學(xué)團隊；
2008年，“網(wǎng)絡(luò )環(huán)境下特定信息獲取與處理技術(shù)”獲批國防科技創(chuàng )新團隊；
2008年，共建信息內容安全技術(shù)國家工程實(shí)驗室；
2010年，首次進(jìn)入上海交大世界大學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)排行榜（ARWU）計算機學(xué)科百強（76-100）；
2011年，獲批軟件工程一級學(xué)科；
2012年，教育部學(xué)科評估中，計算機科學(xué)與技術(shù)學(xué)科排名第4，軟件工程學(xué)科排名第7；
2014年，共建主機系統國家工程實(shí)驗室；
2015年，躋身上交大世界大學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)排行榜（ARWU）計算機學(xué)科百強（51-75），進(jìn)入ESI全球計算機學(xué)科學(xué)術(shù)論文排名前1%行列（76名），USNews世界大學(xué)計算機學(xué)科排行榜中位居第52名；
2016年，獲批網(wǎng)絡(luò )空間安全一級學(xué)科；
2017年，新一輪教育部學(xué)科評估中，計算機科學(xué)與技術(shù)學(xué)科位列A類(lèi)，軟件工程位列A-類(lèi)；
2017年，入選國家精品在線(xiàn)開(kāi)放課程7門(mén)，課程總數居全國同類(lèi)課程第一位；
2017年，“計算機大類(lèi)專(zhuān)業(yè)基礎課程研究型教學(xué)團隊”獲批工業(yè)和信息化部2016年度研究型教學(xué)團隊；
2017年，成立哈工大網(wǎng)絡(luò )空間安全研究院；
2017年，軟件工程專(zhuān)業(yè)通過(guò)中國工程教育專(zhuān)業(yè)認證；
2018年，成立哈工大人工智能研究院；
2018年，通過(guò)計算機科學(xué)與技術(shù)學(xué)科國際評估；
2018年，獲批網(wǎng)絡(luò )大數據安全分析工業(yè)和信息化部重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗室；
2018年，獲批中央網(wǎng)信辦網(wǎng)絡(luò )空間國際治理研究基地；
2018年，獲國家級教學(xué)成果一等獎1項、二等獎1項；
2019年，成立網(wǎng)絡(luò )空間安全學(xué)院；

2020年，計算學(xué)部成立；
2020年，計算機科學(xué)與技術(shù)、軟件工程、網(wǎng)絡(luò )空間安全專(zhuān)業(yè)獲批國家一流專(zhuān)業(yè)；
2020年，共建傳播內容認知國家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗室；
2020年，獲批黑龍江省視聽(tīng)覺(jué)認知計算重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗室；
2021年，物聯(lián)網(wǎng)工程專(zhuān)業(yè)獲批國家一流專(zhuān)業(yè)；
2021年，躋身上交大世界大學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)排行榜（ARWU）計算機學(xué)科第21名、進(jìn)入ESI全球計算機學(xué)科學(xué)術(shù)論文排名榜第33名，USNews世界大學(xué)計算機學(xué)科排行榜中位居第22名。
In 1956, the computer major was founded as one of the two earliest computer majors in China;
In 1985, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Institute of Computer Science and Technology were founded;
In 2000, the School of Software was founded and was approved as the National Pilot School of Software in the following year;
In 2003, the first-level discipline of computer science and technology ranked 5th in China Discipline Ranking;
In 2008, the National Engineering Laboratory for Information Content Security Technologies was founded;
In 2012, the discipline of computer science and technology ranked 4th in China Discipline Ranking, and software engineering ranked 7th；
In 2014, the National Engineering Laboratory for Mainframe System was founded;
In 2015, the computer science major went up to the top 100 (51-75) in Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), top 1% (76) of ESI World Rankings, and the 52nd in the U.S. News Rankings of Best Global Universities for computer science.
In 2017, the Discipline of Computer Science and Technology at Harbin Institute of Technology and the Discipline of Software Engineering both rank among Class A in the latest China Discipline Ranking (CDR).
In 2017, the Institute of Cyberspace Security was established.
In 2017, the Software Engineering Program passed the China Engineering Education Accreditation.
In 2018, the Institute of Artificial Intelligence was established.
In 2020, the Faculty of Computing was established.
In 2021, our computer science discipline ranked 21st in the world in ARWU, 22nd in US News, and 33th in ESI.
